Been feeling tired these few days, so did lazy things like cycle to MacRitchie and bus to school(!). DNFed my AHM training on Saturday morning, finishing only 3 of the 5 3k sets, all at an abysmally slow pace. Not recovered from Legs and Paddles even after 6 days.
PA Champs concluded with me and Poh Khai getting 3rd. Fair enough. We had a plan and gave it a shot, but things happen. Anyways, it proved that we do have the ability to put up a decent K2 performance, but at the same time showed that we had more room for improvement.
Today I did Nio's experiment thing, and so I decided to test my running abilities since it was 45min on the track. I was thinking of at least 10k, but sadly could only manage 9.7km. I realised I was off the paced at round 13, but could do nothing to up the pace.
On other matters, someone spotted a Croc at MacRitchie, so it looks like we are facing yet another moment of uncertainty. Moving seems to be high up on the menu. I certainly hope a solution can be reached soon.
On a lighter note, check out riders doing some pavement surfing at the end of Giro d'Italia stage 11:
Happens when you apply the brakes at high speeds over wet road markings.
