Yes, the run was wimpy... The only time I was slower over 21.1 km was when I first ran it as an OCS cadet with an inflammed ITB, running walking and hobbling my way to a 2:07 then...

Well, actually I believe that all the distances covered were only approximations and so the timings do not really hold true... Yah, but the run was a disaster nonetheless. If there was a "greatest disparity between bike and run" prize, I think I stand a good chance... =S

One major shocker I saw was that my friend returned a DNF in the run! I think it must have been a problem with the timing matts or the championchip... Seems like this is the second time such an incident has happened to him, the first being Osim 2 yrs back....

And I heard Victoria Cambell DNFed on the bike as she accidentally left the bike course? Not sure.

Further reflection on the results showed that my age group is something like a "kids" category compared to the rest.... Top finishers in my age group easily become slightly above average for the older age groupers.

Will I be back again? I still have 1 more year in this "kids" category...
