Results for the OCBC 40km are out! Just realised ironically that they used chip time to sort out the finishing positions. Imagine sprinting shoulder to shoulder with some one and besting him by a tyre, only to realise you lost on chip time....
Well, normally for say a running marathon I wouldn't think it's that big of a deal but for cycling it's a bit different due to the dynamics of the race and tactics involved that make races closer than ever. Heck, proper marathons go by gun time too, much less a cycling race.
Simply put it wasn't really a race to begin with! Literally, the aim of the event was just for the masses to realise that 40km cycling is do-able, enjoyable task.
Ah, school work is killing me. But it's the last semester.
