The 2006/2007 Sem 2 examinations came to a close yesterday, but unfortunately it ended on a low note with GEM2003 Why History. I face a real chance of getting a U grade for this module. And even though getting a U grade doesn't reflect on my CAP score, it just reflects badly on me anyway. But I guess if I do get such a grade, then I only have myself to blame....

Anyways, the exams are over but I feel kinda indifferent. It's now time to convert to the Full-Time-Athlete again, but this time with renewed motivation ($321)! It looks to be a busy period of trainings, as I can forsee the National Canoeing Championships, Army Half Marathon, and the above mentioned Ironman 70.3 Singapore! Yesterday fervently borrowed my friend's (this guy in hall who thrashed me in the Osim Triathlon last year by nearly 15 mins) Triathlete magazine and copied down the essential training programs and tips within.

It looks like I'm going to be on an 18 week training programme (starting next monday) divided into 3 Phases: Base, Speed, Taper. This is in fact pretty similar to kayak marathon training, just that this time there are 3 sports to balance. Erm, then again, I am still a canoeist, so make that 4. Hmmmmm...... 4 sports!!!!!! And I still want to learn driving!

It looks to be a busy busy (and painful) holiday..... =)

I will go into the specifics of trainings later, once I've actually visualised and planned out the workouts to do.

Anyway, I began mu preparations by splurging on tri/cycling related stuff again today at The Bike Boutique (www.thebikeboutique.com). I actually semi know the ship attendent there from previous triathlons, so got a slightly better price. Decided I had no time and energy to visit other bike shops. Now I still have to acquire CO2 catridges (to fix flats) and the aerobar computer mount (self explainatory) from Treknology... And I hope TEF junction fixes my aerobar bracket soon... After which it will be time to fit my aerobars onto my TCR Composite....

Alright... Let me go and plan more programmes....
