Encounter

Just came back from the Thursday Rodalink West ride... Did pretty ok this time, among the pack of about 20 riders. Compared to last week the ride was less harsh with fewer attacks and a cruising speed (about 43kmh vs 45km++). I tried to avoid a bunch sprint on the last straight leading to the finish when i realised I had a small gap. 51kmh for a few seconds, then dwindled to a pathetic 39kmh with about 200m to go. Talk about bad timing. But anyways, it was great fun. I had to skip my Seniors' farewell dinner though (whoops)

Alright, that's it for my weekly cycle. I have so much work undone, and given my current negative efficiency levels things just don't look too good.

Hmm, well, I should mention this, but it seems that death is indeed part and parcel of life. One of my Church Youth Ministery Staff's father passed away last night, as a result of an accident last Sunday. I pray that God watch over his family, especially his Mom and little brother.

Tomorrow is Good Friday, a day to remember the inexplainable sacrifice of Jesus for sinners like me. But I shall have to return to work too. And there's some paddling (yup, not pedalling) to get done with too.
