Ah, a short run today confirmed that the likelihood of my ITB getting inflammed is still very very real. Drats. I was thinking it would probably have gone by now (yeah, i have't been running for a while it seems), but looks like i'm a little too optimistic.
Going into a marathon predisposed to an ITB with conscious-knee-rubbing doesn't sound encouraging. In fact, i think a few times it was more than just rubbing / tightness i felt. A cold, semi sharp pain? I hope it was my imagination. Haha. I shall sit around and continue to get fat for 4 more days.
