In view of school starting, me feeling lazy to do work and staying at home, I've been blogging quite frequently. Multi-post a day. I shall continue to do so before school catches up and totally negates the idea of free time.

Well actually I already have 1 tutorial, 1 lab preparation, 2 notes to look through and school is starting in 37 hours time. It could be worst if I decide to read up on Hysys. But I won't. Training will continue next week in camp after school as I'm still technically on ICT. Plus the need to acquire textbooks, bid for tutorials, buy paper, read textbooks (hmmmm...)

and if I have extra energy i need to:
go bike shops check out CO2 catridges + adapter
go oakley service center to fix my zeros
go to the bike boutique to check out run visor
make an appointment with Soul Bikes to buy brakepads + tubes + checkout latest stuff
hunt for cheap and good training tires (TEF bikers junction ran out...)
check out and buy new road shoes? Hmmmm, tempted by the Shimano SH-R131S ($130):

Considering it has a full carbon sole + adjustment rivette mechanism this shoe is like the ultimate value for money cycling product.
Other cycling stuffs on my want list are currently out of point due to the costs. I shall get them 3 years later. Then again, the same product won't be around by then. Probably something similar but better then.

Feeling quite tired.... Today's run wasn't too good. 2:07 for 23+km... 5 rounds bedok reservoir plus 2km. First 10km relaxed at 78%, then decided to try to catch the front group which was a few minutes ahead. Maybe 3 mins. Maintained at 89% for 6km+ before I blew. Front group was within 200m but too bad, I was already done in. Aerobically could manage but my legs were just too tired. Has been that way this entire week ever since the bike ride last Sat. Crawled the last few kms despite 78% heart rate.

Interesting observations were the Gurkhas training today. They were running in groups of 2 rows, FAST, and IN STEP. That really takes a lot of discipline.

Besides that there was some kind of running / kayaking relay thing I think by new urban male, but I was already done in by the run to bother.... Saw like ngee ann poly, rjc, sajc, acs etc there...

Achy knees and joints. Going to sleep. 1 more week of 'tough' training before taper for AHM.

All the best to those at the Canoeing World Championships... Basically just the girls K4 1000 and Andrea and Weiling left? Rest unfortunately could not survive the heats. Cruel reality it is.
