I want this bike! Ha ha. Well... who wouldn't?

It's a limited edition 2009 Giant TCR Advanced SL. In just 3 years, bike technology progressed... Compared to my current platform the major differences are:

- Electronic Shifting:
- No cable wear and tear
- no cable friction
- auto-front derailleur trim
- gate-sensitive front derailleur shifting
- reduced shift lever throw

- Reduced Weight:
- 1 kg lighter (my current bike is 7.5 kg)

- Aerodynamics:
- 10mm higher rim profile (currently running 30mm)

- Integrated seatpost:
- Looks nice. No chance of slippage
- Increased comfort by design

- Limited edition frameset and components:
- aesthetically coordinated with customised tones of blue and white
- unique Shimano Dura-ace Di2 specific frame set:
- no derailluer cable stops
- Internal routing for Di2 cables
- chain-stay battery mount option

- Drivetrain Stiffness:
- Oversized toptube, downtube (square tubing), 86mm wide bottom bracket

- Steering stiffness:
- 1 1/8 tapered to 1 1/4 inch steerer tube

Basically an improvement in all aspects of my current steed! (ugh!) Perhaps only the pedals and brake calipers are comparable. The handlebar/stem are integrated too, which means no slippage! (My handlebars were thrown off after a couple of potholes on Malaysian roads...)

Reality check: There are only 50 bikes, available only through selected US dealers, and it retails for freaking USD 13900!!!! (about $21000++)
