While my workhorse is awaiting my acquisition of a new rear derailleur / jockey wheels, I had to use my single speed Bridgestone 450 today.

Well, for the 3rd time, the rear wheel came loose! Luckily, as per the last 2 times, it misaligned itself when I attempted to start the bike. This time though, I was clipped in, on an up slope. I instinctively unclipped the left, but sadly fell towards the right, and failed to unclip in time, crashing at a standstill on my butt in full view of the martial arts group people who were twirling sticks in the carpark. Hur hur.

It was quite unsettling accelerating on the road in front of cars the rest of the trip... Imagine falling in front of an accelerating car at the turn of a green light. I was a little scared, but oh well.

That rear wheel needs to be fixed somehow... It's not catching onto the semi horizontal/vertical drop outs enough.
