Encounter

During weekdays I go to NUS. On weekends like today, I start to doubt myself and feel like I am at NUC or NUI. More so towards the evening. At least at YIH I have this feeling about 70% are non-locals.

Now I can say I've been an exchange student before -_-".

It reminds me of once when I was in Yr 1, LT32 Living with Maths lecture, when it dawned upon me that I could not understand the language of the person to my right, my left, and behind me... I guess they were speaking Vietnamese.

There is still a long way to go if I am to be competitive in any sport. And I mean competitive in the local scene. What are the missing ingredients?

Discipline. Time. Methodology. Talent. Passion. Health.

Can't do anything about Talent.
Methodology needs to be sought, and it revolves around Time.
Time and Methodology requires Discipline to carry out, provided Health allows.
Discipline comes from Passion.
Discipline can increase Time.
Time depends on many factors.
Discipline can increase Health.
Health depends on many factors.
Passion is ?

From this brief description, it appears that Passion (also called Drive or Motivation?) is thing that must be strenghtened.

But how do you create Passion / Drive / Motivation? One of the mysteries in life? Or have I turned a blind eye to the answer that has always been there?

I realise this extends past mere sports, but to all other aspects.
