There's no time already. One update about the Audax 300 though. Looking back, it seemed like quite a blast! But during the ride, it was terrible... Really really, weak riding on my part. But I can't complain, having been virtually motionless for weeks.
Spent about 12-13 hours out there, of which slightly more than 10 were spent actually turning the cranks. Things were fine, until about 120km, when fatigue, crampiness etc etc started to set it. It was then operation 'don't think, just ride, get to the next stop'. Basically I was near threshold nearly all the rest of the way. The pitstops were essential.
I insisted on making the front group (the other groups on completed like hours later?!), so well, I had to do my share of work at the front. Still, I skipped a few turns when I could. It was embarrassing moving to the front and really struggling and killing myself just to pull the group at status quo. We were in 2s, so when we pull it's 2 people at a time. And well, i was always the limiting factor of the 2. But the guys were pretty accomodating, and well, i guess there were other tired souls too who really didn't mind about my slow pace?
Oh yah, I hate em potholes...
Next up, Audax 400, 600??? Zzzzz.........
