I think the major draw this year should be the sundown marathon. It's a new route, a new environment, and crazy running enthusiasts from around the region have already snapped up the ultra distance! Time for me to give the marathon a go again, after more than 2 years.... Mileage anyone?

As for local triathlons, see how bah, given the fact that they are over-priced, over-crowded, and dangerous! Perhaps I will think of exploring the races in Malaysia, depending on how lazy i am. Hur hur.

I decided to stop paddling at 16km today, instead of completing the 24km. My failed attempt to hold my stroke and glide past an oncoming C1 resulted in a capsize and my paddle scartching the deck of the Nelo ML. Turtlewax doesn't seem to work well to cover the scratch. Anyway, I decided to stop paddling because it started feeling more painful than enjoyable. Simple as that. As ironic as it is, ever since I made the claim to Shumin yesterday morning that my butt didn't hurt from paddling, I've had an achy/pain left butt ever since, resulting in me being unable to kick on the left side. Feels bruised, or maybe torn.

Hmm, my IA will commence on Monday, and life will become a bit different bah.
