Something's weird. I haven't trained since Monday, and slept the entire afternoon away despite having an 11hr sleep the night before.

Anyway, during CN4201 lecture on Wed, the lecturer was talking about how happenings in US affect their business. His example was how a small group of people in US were starting to practice reduced usage of their cars, and I guess this activity may have caught on for a while, and it has been partially responsible for the company's NEGATIVE return of sales, due to the price of gasoline falling.

Wouldn't it be ironic, then, if i intend to work in the petrol refining industry but believe in a cycling utopia?

And the lecturer's advice on priorities in: Safety, then Commercialism. What happened to the environment and global warming?

yeah.. and i really don't see why 50 years of crude is "enough" for the world. maybe enough for his retirement only lah. blahhh.

i feel this module is propaganda.. changing our mindset (about money) now so that we may join their company as a more valuable employee..
