I'm someway into the semester and it hasn't been good. Despite this sem being markedly more relaxed than the previous sem, things don't look too good all the same.
The material covered in lectures is understandable, but the tutorials leave me feeling kinda lost again. Well, that is, if I have actually tried sitting down and struggling with the questions... I'm not sure why but somehow I'm alreadly lagging in terms of work again. A very very bad sign. It has something to do with my burnt weekends? Or the accumulated fatigue from handling the day to day activities in school? Where's the desire to do well?
Anyway, it seems to me that the only way I can possible keep up is to spend ALL my time studying. I have new textbooks which are unread. Notes which I can't even remember having gone through. Tutorials questions which leave me clueless. Projects which don't even have a head yet. Deadlines which are always approaching. Midterms tests are coming.....
15 years in school and I haven't gotten used to it. How can this be?
On a side note, I cleared my IPPT on Tuesday. Notably, it was the first time ever that I did not score a full score for IPPT. I actually scored only 4 pts for Standing Broad Jump!!!! 239cm... Well, then again it was a pre-lack luster day the whole time, and my lack of technique didn't help... I felt psychomoto for both the jump and the shuttle run. It was just weird. And I was so lazy I stopped after 12 pull-ups too. I decided to make the best out of the 2.4km though but I dunno, I think I might have forgotten how to run fast due to all the long runs... My body just felt weird trying to go fast anyway, and the run felt super short. 8:51? Oh well... couldn't even beat the gold timing by 1 min despite all the training, but at least sub 9... Think I'm getting old...
Ok, I shall stop procrastinating.
