I decided to go on a 2 hr run today. The plan was West Coast Park then Pepys Road and back, but after coming down Vigilante Drive my watch showed 1:08... Crap, I felt like I had been running forever and still had 52 mins?? Sigh. Did some extend route to SP and reached back NUS 1:38, so I figured I had to do a reverse PGP... Well, that when I suddenly just gave. Ha ha. I dunno how, but my body went into 'give up' mode and I found myself like practically jogging on the spot and then walking at 1:41.
Running attempt failed.
Think I may really be better off doing multiple 10ks a week instead of like a 2hr run once in a blue moon.
Oh, and on other news I had to swerve and skid my read wheel twice to avoid crashing myself into the back of a stopping/u-turning bus on a downhill section... Stupid rain extended the stopping distances. Lucky my front wheel didn't give. Bet the car driver behind me must have been amused by my acrobatics.
